Wednesday, September 15th 2010 - Glasgow to Gatwick House

Woke up to a rainy, blustery day in Glasgow, but we got up and pulled on our clothes as we wanted to meet Tricia to say Farewell as she was leaving today!  Got to St. George's Square a little before 8am and soon we saw the threesome hurrying along to get out of the rain - only had to wait a couple of minutes for the bus to arrive and see Tricia safely on board.  Theresa, Ian and Ron and I then strolled along and said our goodbyes at our hotel which was only a block from their place.  We were checking out of our hotel and Theresa and Ian had one more night in their luxurious apartment.  We were able to do some laundry at the hotel and spent the rest of the day sightseeing in Glasgow as our flight to London wasn't until 7pm.  Here's a picture of me enjoying the All Day Breakfast at the Trees and then the beautiful People's Palace via our Hop On Hop Off tour of Glasgow.  We were able to leave our bags at the hotel and then met Mary at the Airport for our flight to Gatwick and overnight in London before leaving for Dubai in the morning.  We managed a quick bevy at the quaint Six Bells Pub before heading to bed around 11pm.  The Gatwick House had a certain resemblance to Faulty Towers - least ways that was our experience.  However, they took us to the airport in plenty of time for our flight and we enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading out.
