Full Irish Breakfast (yummy) at Coleraine Premiere Inn and then headed to Donegal via Londonderry (well a girl has to get her nails done…). (London)Derry is known as the Walled City and while I got my nails done, Ron walked all around the wall and took some good shots…. people were dressed in costume as you can see! When we got to Donegal we had such a good time there, the place was perfect very Irish (duh!) but totally what we expected with castles and pubs and great blarney all over the place. We got some really good coffee (somewhat of a rarity here… they really go in for instant - Nescafe seems to go over well with the locals, but we have bought our own little machine to make 2 cups and it’s heaven - not exactly Timmy’s but better than most). Our B&B for this night ‘The Arches’ is just lovely - the view from the window in our room is spectacular and everything here is definitely 5 star. It’s fun to meet the owners of these B&B’s that we booked using Trip Advisor, so Jill the owner is every bit the character outlined in TA.
