Saturday, 21st August, 2010 - Dingle to Blarney, Ireland

Packed up and left our wee cottage at 10 am for the drive to Blarney.  We stopped along the way at the Toy Soldier Factory/Workshop and then on to the town of Macroom via some very hairy (but beautiful scenery) single lane roads - about 10 kms.

Arrived at the lovely old Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel at 2 pm and checked in.  Went for a walk around the village and had a bite to eat at Christie's  Pub in the hotel.  Later we went back out for dinner at the Muskerry Arms Hotel before going back to our hotel.  We have a 3 hour drive to catch the 3 pm ferry to Wales tomorrow - nighty night.

MacKenzie started to look around today when you were talking to me and Michelle said her eyes lit up. I guess she reconizes your voice. Well enjoy your trip and I can't wait to see the pics from Dubi when you get there. I really wonder what that place is like.
